A coat of clear lacquer is applied to protect and seal the finish for a lifetime of use. This House of Troy light fixture has a hinged, adjustable arm that is easily adjustable from 34-Inch to 48-Inch allowing for ample illumination while sitting in your reading chair or working at your desk. The PH100-61-J uses one medium base type A, 100W (maximum) incandescent bulb housed in a 8-Inch by 3-3/4-Inch shade and is controlled by an on-off switch on the socket. This lamp is CA Title 20 Compliant when used with a compact fluorescent light bulb. The base measures 10-1/2-Inch in diameter, with a factory formed opening for the 10-foot brown cord and polarized plug. The metal components of House of Troy products should be cleaned with warm water and a soft cloth; using soaps or glass cleaners may damage the metal finish.
